Installing in stone, quartz or granite
- Point Pod. The top cup is supplied empty for a matching piece of your countertop, up to 1.18" (30 mm) thick. Finish the insert to 3.66" (93 mm) and test-fit it; four adjustment screws help level it. Our 4" Point Pod hole saw (US$102) cuts the opening and the insert in one cut. Make a trial cut on an offcut first. Waterjet and other precision cutting methods also work when both dimensions are followed. If a matching insert isn't possible, we can supply inserts in a range of colors; contact us for pricing.
- Hubbell. Suits countertops 0.56–2.13" (Dual-Sided) or 0.56–2.50" (Tri-Power) thick. The flush-mount Dual-Sided has a square edge for sitting level with the countertop; the data sheet gives the counterbore dimensions.
USB-C and USB-A charging
- Point Pod 15W: two USB-C ports and one USB-A port, up to 5V/3A (15W).
- Point Pod 65W (US$90 more): two USB-C PD 3.0 ports and no USB-A. Up to 65W from one port, or 30W each when both are in use.
- Hubbell Tri-Power: USB-C up to 18W, USB-A, and Qi wireless charging up to 7.5W on the top.
- Hubbell Dual-Sided: power outlets only.
Power, GFCI and code
- Hubbell receptacles are cULus Listed receptacle assemblies for kitchen and bathroom countertops, in accordance with NEC 406.5(E). They meet UL listing standards for NEC 406.5(E) countertops, 406.5(F) work surfaces and 406.5(H) seating areas.
- Point Pod is ETL Listed for the US to UL 962A and for Canada to CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 308. It has no built-in GFCI protection, so it must connect to a GFCI-protected outlet or circuit, installed in accordance with NEC 406.5(E) and local codes.
- All three are designed for indoor countertop use. Hubbell units are water-resistant and tested against spills of up to half a gallon. Point Pod is IP44 rated for indoor, dry locations and is not waterproof.

How fast is delivery?
Orders placed on business days normally dispatch within 24 hours: Point Pod from Irving, Texas, and Hubbell from Boise, Idaho. Delivery typically takes 3–7 days, and two-day express is available at checkout.
